I've worked with dogs and used pen birds for 40+ years. Most of my experience with pen birds has been disappointing, with birds not wanting to flush or flying too low and right back down, which is terrible for dog work and dangerous as well. Michael's birds have been a pleasant surprise. His birds have been quick to flush up high, flew well and far, much better than even most plantation birds I've hunted. No pen birds can match the speed and challenge of wild birds, but Michael's are a close enough second for a great experience. Michael is also dependable, and a pleasure doing business with. I'll be a repeat customer for sure.
